Why 'government' jobs demand in Bihar is so high?

 Bihar, when we hear about this state of India, most of us have two images that comes in our mind. The first, of course, villagers having rifles and guns and they cheewing 'pan masala' in their mouths. The second image is of the 'padhaaku' students preparing for prestigious government jobs like UPSC, state PCS,SSC, railways etc . Bihar of the past.. Bihar shares a glorious past in the history of ancient India. Magadh, which was the centre of power during the resume of bimbisara and of course, Chandragupta Maurya. It was the most powerful Mahajanpada among all the 16 Mahajanpadas of the ancient times. Even the neighbourhood countries were stunned when they saw the 'richness' of Magadha and many of them wrote about the 'glory' of Bihar in those days. The  education 'hub' Bihar was not only the power point of ancient India, but it was also the education hub of almost whole Asia. The Nalanda University made by palas was the mega centre for education.
